Step-by-step: How to Activate Your System
Step 1: Prepare for Utility Interconnection
Before your system can be powered on, it must be approved by your local utility.
Our team will work with you to gather the required information and documents, including:
- Utility Account Holder Information
- Utility Account number
- Signed Interconnection Agreement forms
- Any additional documentation required by your utility
Once collected, MRS will submit the interconnection application on your behalf and cover the cost of application fees.
Step 2: Utility Reviews & Grants PTO (Permission to Operate)
After submission, your utility will review the application and issue Permission to Operate (PTO) once approved.
We monitor this process and will notify you the moment PTO is granted.
Step 3: MRS Activation Team will Contact You

Step 4: Activating Your Monitoring Account
